My first monthly favorites of the year features what I have been loving from my recent hauls. Tarte’s tartelette palette is everything! Didn’t think I’d be into all matte looks until I tried its mix of neutrals and plums. The Charlotte Tilbury Bronze & Glow palette makes me feel red carpet worthy. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve spotted this on celebrity makeup artists Instagram accounts before I broke down and made one my own. New palette and time on my hands means playing in front of the camera. Seems like the jury is still out on the Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette but I was certainly a fan of the colors I used to create this look. If you are looking for a comparison, I would say that the texture of most of the shadows I tried were very similar to the Lorac Pro palettes. It is certainly a great value but you could pay more for a more creamy/buttery product. Which side of the fence are you on?
